• RACQ Motorfest - Sunday 11 July 2010
  The RACQ MotorFest 2010 will be held on Sunday 11 July 2010 from 10am to 3pm at Eagle Farm Racecourse, Lancaster Road, Hamilton (Brisbane - Australia). This apparently is Brisbane's largest showcase of vintage, veteran, classic and special interest vehicles. 800 collectible cars will be on display, and a full menu of entertainment will be provided.

  This is the (ongoing) story of Jorge and his friends who set off in a round the world trip with their 2CVs in September 2008 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of what was probably the first ever round the world trip in a 2CV in the 50s. The site is in Spanish but can be translated using Google Translate. The story actually starts on the last page, rather than at the beginning, being a blog. So skip to the "end" and enjoy their trip with them.

The show is held at the Brookfield Pony Club Showgrounds, Brookfield Rd, Brookfield, in Brisbane.
