Mini-Raid to Carnarvon National Park: April 2010
Join the 2CV Club of Queensland on a road trip to Carnarvon Gorge in Central Queensland in April 2010. This is the best time of year to visit the park because at this time the lilies on Lake Nuga Nuga are usually flowering and it is a sight to behold. -
Saturday 27 February 2010: Citroën 2CV Technical Day - Picnic
We all gathered for a picnic lunch to demystify the inner workings of our little beauties. Stephane enlightened all of us about how simple 2CVs really are. We learned more about general maintenance, suspension, electrics, tyre wear and steering and gained confidence to take our little car a bit further afield. -
1 November 2008: 60th Anniversary Drive
The Citroen 2CV, one of last century's most iconic cars, turned sixty on 7 October 2008. This was a perfect excuse for the Queensland 2CVers to get out and about with their beloved Ugly Ducklings. They all went for a drive to Flaxton (near Montville) for lunch at Le Relais Bressan, to celebrate the anniversary. -
2CV Drive to Mount Mee - Sunday 10 August 2008
On 10 August 2008 10 Queensland 2CVers went for a drive to Mount Mee to plan a bit of a birthday bash in October for the 60th anniversary of the unveiling of the 2CV on the Paris Motor Show on 7 October 1948. -

First meeting of the Queensland 2CV Club - Sunday 30 March 2008

French Car Display - Sunday 11 July 2010
Every year the local Citroen, Peugeot, Renault & Simca Car Clubs organise the Grand Display of classic & modern French Vehicles. The show is held at the Brookfield Pony Club Showgrounds, Brookfield Rd, Brookfield, in Brisbane. Everyone Welcome - you don't need to belong to a club to park your pride and joy for a couple of hours or the whole day! -
French Car Display - 12 July 2009
Every year the local Citroen, Peugeot, Renault & Simca Car Clubs organise the Grand Display of classic & modern French Vehicles. The show is held at the Brookfield Pony Club Showgrounds, Brookfield Rd, Brookfield, in Brisbane. The weather this year was better than last year, and a bit over 150 cars were on display. -

RACQ Motorfest - Sunday 11 July 2010
The RACQ MotorFest 2010 will be held on Sunday 11 July 2010 from 10am to 3pm at Eagle Farm Racecourse, Lancaster Road, Hamilton. This apparently is Brisbane's largest showcase of vintage, veteran, classic and special interest vehicles. 800 collectible cars will be on display, and a full menu of entertainment will be provided. -
Saturday 10 October 2009: Lunch at La Provence French Restaurant
On 7 October it was 61 years since the 2CV was unveiled to the public, and who needed another excuse for a nice lunch at a French Restaurant. Jean-Marc and Nathalie Fabron of La Provence shared their authentic French cuisine with all of us. -
Sunday 17 October 2010: 62th Anniversary Drive
Yep, the yearly excuse is here again. The 2CV turns 62 on 7 October so we booked Birches Restaurant at Mt Mee. Write it in your diary, and keep your eye on your inbox for more details. -
Trip to Gayndah's Maison de Citroën - 16 and 17 may 2009
The 2CV Club of Queensland went to visit Les and Peter in Gayndah, north of Brisbane, to check out their private collection of Citroëns. The collection contains about 30 immaculately restored Citroëns, including a 5CV from the 20's, a convertible Traction Avant, Safaris, SM, DSs and IDs, and a DS cabriolet to die for.

Perched on one of the highest points of the Blackall Range in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland sits this secluded and very private couples retreat. There are three luxuriously appointed cabins: Amore (love), Dream and Calm, a two bedroom cabin.
