French Car Display - 6 July 2008

Two 2CVs amongst a few DSses
Every year the local Queensland Citroën, Peugeot, Renault & Simca Car Clubs organise the Grand Display of classic & modern French Vehicles. The show has outgrown the venue used in earlier years at the University of Queensland, and was this year for the first time at the Brookfield Pony Club Showgrounds, Brookfield Rd, Brookfield, in Brisbane.

Acadyane from New South Wales
The day before Sunday 6 July 2008, it rained all day, and even on the day of the display the weather looked threatening, especially in the morning.
As a result there probably were a number of people who rather kept their treasures at home.

2CV Pembleton
Among all the old and new Citroëns (a lot of DSses!), Renaults and Peugeots were only two 2CVs, one Acadyane, and for the very first time: a 2CV Pembleton built by Peter.
